There is just one more thing that we need to do before we enter the BSI laboratory - we need to be properly prepared for the environment. Just as CSI officers wear protective overalls (or, if you're in a US Television series, expensive haircuts, nifty flak jacket, figure hugging T-Shirts - please view our range here), we also need to prepare for the environment. This exercise aims to give you the opportunity to try out for yourselves a range of Bible study approaches in the quickest possible time and with the minimum of reading. Therefore please remember that this is a beginner's introduction, Consequently: 1. Although as time proceeds we hope to include more and more approaches, this cannot be an exhaustive and complete list. 2. Scholars can devote their lives to just one or two of these approaches. To adequately master any one method can take years of painstaking research and practice. In exercises such as these, it is all too easy to oversimplify. All approaches have their weaknesses - which is one reason why we have so many tools to hand. However, if a particular approach appears to you to be fatally flawed or simply ridiculous, it will be a reflection of the limits of this type of format and/or my abilities. Please do not reject or dismiss any of the approaches before reading more detailed accounts of them. We are more than willing to discuss any of the approaches here.
